No. 2 delayed | 05/19/10 | Truly, Dave's fans are the most patient, due to the snail's pace of his writing and artistic staff. Truth is, I've run into some stumbling blocks the past couple of months, work-schedule wise (in the real world of work-a-day work that I actually get paid for ;)) Unfortunately, that has meant that work on Zombie Dave No. 2 has been put on the back burner. However, this may result in a better story in the long run. In the interim, I've come up with a few more ideas I want to squeeze into the script, which I'm in the process of re-writing. In the mean time, I want to offer my heartfelt apologies to Dave's fans for the inevitable delay. I'm still shooting for No. 2 to be released this year, although it may be the early fall before that can happen. Also, Zombie Dave No. 2 (and future issues) probably won't be posted in webcomic form, since sales of No. 1 stopped flat as soon as I posted it in its entirety. No. 1 will stay online indefinitely, however, and I will post some previews of No. 2 once it's done. -- Matt New headers | 03/07/10 | Sorry, no updated panels this week, kiddies. Couldn't squeeze in a full page, and still have lots to do setting up the new site. I did, however, knock out a couple of single panels to decorate the main page, which I plan to rotate. You can check out this one of Cheetahmonkulus and Zombie Dave; And this one of the beautiful Number 3. Enjoy. ;) -- Matt Finally updated! | 02/28/10 | Well, I finally got some new content up. I'll admit it's pretty rough right now, and it's only three panels, but at least it's up. Enjoy. ;) -- Matt -- Matt Feel free to comment | 02/27/10 | Like all artistic types, I desperately crave feedback. So, if you've had a chance to check out the page and like what you see (or even if you don't), please feel free to post a comment on Zombie Dave's Facebook page. -- Matt Thanks again, Mary Katherine | 02/26/10 | Months ago, when Zombie Dave No. 1 first came back from the printer's, Mary Katherine Thorn was the first to suggest I make it a web comic. I wasn't sure at first, but once I finally got all the panels up this week, it turns out she was absolutely right. If I do say so myself, Dave looks better than ever on the Web. Although I thought Kablam.com did an excellent job, there are some nuances that simply got lost in the process of putting the book on paper that readers will now be able to see (note the background on Panel 62, especially.) So, thanks again, M.K! Hope you enjoy it. -- Matt A new look for ZombieDave.com | 02/25/10 | Everyone needs a makeover now and then -- especially zombies -- so here is the new ZombieDave.com. Instead of just a site to sell the comic, I've decided to make Zombie Dave a Webcomic. I'll be able to share more as I get panels and pages accomplished. My goal is to be able to update weekly. We'll see how that goes. :) Zombie Dave No. 1 can be read here essentially in its entirety, with a few tweaks here and there. Future updates will be in black and white at first. We'll try and get to the color as we can. In the mean time, I invite you to look around and loiter a spell. -- Matt |
